Boveda Kolen is currently pursuing a Master of Science in International Business at HEC Montréal, where he is completing his thesis titled “From Policy to Practice: Canadian Corporation, Modern Slavery, and the Supply Chain Act”. His thesis examines how Canadian companies operating in Southeast Asia respond to the Supply Chain Act, exploring the gap between policy and practice in corporate social responsibility.

In addition to his academic pursuits, Boveda works as a Programs, Scientific Activities, and Communications Advisor for the Global Innovation Coop Summit (GICS) 2025 at the International Cooperative Innovation Network (ICIN). He plays a key role in shaping the summit’s strategic direction and communications.

Boveda also leads the Coop Lab project at ICIN, a collaborative initiative focused on helping cooperatives integrate responsible AI practices. His work emphasizes creating ethical, transparent, and inclusive AI strategies aligned with cooperative values during their digital transformation.
