Ilana Gotz joined Euricse in 2010, moving from the United States where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and a master’s degree in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago, with a specialization in Community Development and Organizing.
She has extensive experience in the non-profit sector, particularly in project management and network development. At Euricse, she manages European and international research and training projects focused on the cooperative movement. Her work includes key initiatives such as the World Cooperative Monitor and Youcoope, and she collaborates closely with cooperatives, representative organizations, research centers, and universities to promote and advance education on the cooperative model.
In addition to her work at Euricse, Ilana serves as Secretariat of the International Co-operative Business Education Consortium (ICBEC), supporting efforts to strengthen global collaboration in cooperative business education.
