Tom Skinner manages operations for the Fair Tax Mark label, which is held by companies around the world who can demonstrate responsible corporate tax conduct. Almost a quarter of all parent companies to hold the Fair Tax Mark are co‑operatives, reflecting close ties between co‑operative values and the standards of the Fair Tax Mark.
Tom is a change-maker with a history of campaigning for social and economic justice. He co-founded the Greater Manchester Living Wage Campaign 10 years ago, which helped increase the number of accredited Living Wage employers in the city region from 16 to more than 800. He co-founded Resolve Poverty 8 years ago, and was co-Director and Chief Operating Officer there for five years before joining the Fair Tax Foundation. He remains on the Resolve Poverty board as a non-executive director.
Tom believes we need to address wealth and power inequalities for a better world, and that fair tax systems and practices are foundational to this.
