Jacob Matthew Drum is a cooperative leader based in Montréal, Québec, and part of a new generation of strategic managers shaping the future of the social and cooperative economy. With over a decade of experience supporting collective enterprises—as an advisor, manager and board member—he combines civic commitment, systemic thinking, and strong communication skills. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics and Political Science from Université de Montréal.

He currently serves as Director of Member Engagement and Executive Support at the Consortium de coopération des entreprises collectives, a key coordinating body in Quebec’s social economy. Through a shared-resource model, he also holds the same role at Co-operatives and Mutuals Canada, the national apex organization, and at the Réseau de coopération des EÉSAD, a network which delivers home support services across Quebec. Jacob also contributes strategically to the Fédération des coopératives des paramédics du Québec, whose members provide about one-third of Quebec’s pre-hospital emergency transport.   This unique experience across multiple organizations gives him a transversal view of Quebec’s cooperative ecosystem—one of the most dynamic in the world.
